Trailer - 'Ghost in the Shell'

Trailer - 'Ghost in the Shell'

Here's another trailer for the (highly?) anticipated live-action version of the famous Ghost in the Shell anime. Take a look:

Look, I know the casting of Scarlett Johannsson is a contentious subject, but this still looks like a good time at the movies, or at least these trailer have led me to believe so. We can argue all day about how unfortunate it is that they didn't cast more Japanese actors, but at least this story is still getting told in some kind of capacity and who knows, maybe even more people will discover the excellent original anime version if this turns out to be anything close to good.

As for this trailer, I miss the use of Depeche Mode  from the last trailer as I felt that that song gave that preview an eerie and awesome cyberpunk feel. This trailer is more standard, but brings to the table even more stunning visuals to gawk over and a few more morsels as to what the plot is about.  I hope this film is good, but at the very least it will be a visual treat.

Ghost is the Shell hits theaters March 31st, 2017
