New Character Posters and Photos for 'Doctor Strange'
There's tons of interviews flying around the web today for November's swiftly approaching Marvel Studios film, Doctor Strange, which I'll provide links to as they're good reads, but for now we've got an abundance of new character posters and photos to show off the visual aesthetic that the film will be going for.
First, here are the photos:
While these pictures don't show much of the effects side of the film, they do display some of the character interactions. I know Doctor Strange is about introducing magic into the world, but I get the feeling that this film will feel more down-to-earth than some of the other Marvel films which tend to come off as quite bombastic. Everything I've seen so far seems to indicate a very human story, which is comforting.
Here are a few new character posters that were also released; they're not much different from what we've seen before, but they're still pretty to look at:
It's nice to see Benedict Wong and Rachel McAdams get posters of their own, even if they are simply photo-shopped onto virtually the same background that we've seen in every poster thus far.
As I said earlier, I've been reading tons of great articles and interviews today from the cast and crew of the film, and they give some interesting insights into the making of the film and the direction Marvel might be heading in the future. First off, Screenrant's coverage can be found here, here, here, here and here. Next we have Slashfilm's coverage which can be seen here, here, and here. *Whew* too many "heres".
Doctor Strange will finally release in theaters on November 4, 2016.
