Doug Liman to Direct Justice League Dark

Doug Liman to Direct Justice League Dark

Doug Liman, who was originally set to direct the Gambit movie for 20th Century Fox has shifted alliances. Liman will now be helming the Justice League Dark film for Warner Bros. I literally had no interest in seeing a Gambit movie so this doesn't really upset me. I don't know too much about Justice League Dark, but it sounds like a much more promising endeavor. The team is led by John Constantine and features characters that are more supernatural in nature and take on problems that the regular Justice League is not suited for. Yes, I just read that off of wikipedia.

There was a bit of uncertainty surrounding Justice League Dark, especially when Guillermo Del Toro dropped out of the project. Doug Liman should have fans resting easy though as he's a highly capable director, sure he's had a couple of not-so-good films but he's fresh off of the great Edge of Tomorrow. I'll be following this project as it continues to develop, I might also pick up a few Justice League Dark comics as the premise sounds fascinating.
