News - Batman is "Freaking scary" in Suicide Squad
According to 'Suicide Squad' director, David Ayer, we will be presented with the rare opportunity to see Batman through the eyes of the criminals. Apparently he's not playing around.
During an interview with IGN, Ayer dropped a few juicy details one what we can expect from the caped crusader in the upcoming 'Suicide Squad' film.
"All of the Batman movies have been from Batman's point of view. He's the good guy. He's the hero of his own movie in all the movies we've seen."
"If you look at what Bruce Wayne has done in creating the Batman persona, his idea was to terrorize criminals. It's sort of psychological warfare against criminals. This wraith that comes in the night and attacks and culls criminals from society. For the first time, we're seeing Batman from the point of view of the criminals and he's freaking scary."
This has me even more excited to watch this film than I was before. We've had little glimpses of how Batman can be frightening in the Nolan trilogy, but it's never been done quite like this. Lets hope that his role is at least a little bit larger than a glorified cameo.
