Trailer - 'Wonder Woman'

Trailer - 'Wonder Woman'

I'm a little surprised we're already getting a second trailer for Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman, I mean, this film isn't coming out until the middle of this summer. Still, I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering what they're going to have left to show by the time the film actually comes out.

There's no denying it; this looks very promising. As someone who hasn't entirely disliked any of the DC films thus far, I'll still say that this looks head-and-shoulders better than anything they have put out thus far in their extended universe. While I don't think this trailer stands quite as tall as the first one, it's still a wonder (get it?) to behold. The movie looks so colorful and full of life, unlike the grungy that was completely devoid of those features. We get more impressions of how the dialogue is going to be and thankfully, there's humor!

The depiction of action here is also pretty awesome, and though there's maybe a little too much slow-mo, it's never to the point of being offensive. The trailer also completely convinces me that Gal Gadot is a great choice for the character. I can't wait to see this film in theaters and it might actually be my most anticipated superhero film next year, I'm just hoping DC can break the curse a deliver a phenomenal film.

Wonder Woman comes out in theaters on June 9th, 2017.
