Trailer-Battlefield 1 Gamescom Gameplay
Well, October can't come soon enough because EA and Dice just released a new gameplay trailer for Battlefield 1 and it puts on one hell of a show.
Accompanied by a remix of Johnny Cash's rendition of "God's Gonna Cut You Down," the trailer starts off with a bang by introducing the first footage of horse combat, unseen since Dice teased it in the first trailer reveal. While I'm not entirely convinced this is truly "In-game Footage," what is on display here is promising and looks absolutely gorgeous. It looks like players can wield swords while on horseback and ride them into battle like they would ATVs or motorcycles like previous Battlefield games, which is what I've been hoping for. Everything else shown off looks like fun additions to 1 like the armored locomotive probably circling the field, similar to the AC-130 in BF4 or even the zeppelins in the BF1 Alpha. It also looks like they're bringing back the environmental changes that take place mid-game similar to the Flood Zone map in BF4 and Dust Bowl in BF: Hardline. October needs to hurry up and get here already.
